Sixty-five years ago, a small group of believers felt called to establish a church to serve the Sandy Springs and Buckhead communities. Like any family, we’ve experienced seasons of great joy and seasons of challenge. Through every change, St. John has remained a faithful home for those seeking purpose and faith.
A New Direction
In 2024, St. John transitioned to become an independent congregation. This move allowed us to embrace local leadership and return to a historic, orthodox theological foundation.
Today, we find ourselves with a dedicated core of members and more enthusiasm for the future than we’ve seen in years. As we often say: “It’s a new day at St. John.”

Children’s Pastor Tiffany Stout: Leads the wonderful church and school children with high energy, integrity, and a passion for sharing the Good News.
A Modern Space for Community
We are currently undergoing a major renovation! An award-winning design team (led by a former Disney designer) is transforming the entrances, lobby, and meeting spaces to ensure the campus is as welcoming and modern as our mission.
